Due to the comprehensiveness of China’s “reform and open” policies, economics plays an increasingly important role in the development of its global position. Though more and more companies built, management of companies cannot catch up with the development of the companies. Management is a burgeoning field in China, so I hope I can acquire more modern knowledge on management in England.
The roots of my strong interest in business can be traced back to my childhood. My father was among the first of China’s new breed of modern entrepreneurs. As a young girl, it was inspirational hearing about his business ventures, and meeting the varied and interesting circle of entrepreneurs. My mother was also involved in business as an accountant, helping him with simple calculations. And so it was early in my life that I hoped I, also, would someday be able to enter the realm of business.
With the time of growing up, I preferred reading books to satisfy my curiosity. I never ceased to contemplate over the questions I encountered. Subjects on business and management became a special fascination to me and my knowledge of psychology as well as interest in this field was increasing rapidly.
As a high school student in China, I had to concentrate on the College Entrance Examination (CEE), even so, books not related to the exams were never excluded from my life. Unfortunately when sitting in the exam in June, 2001, I was so nervous that I didn’t score well in the CEE exam. I enrolled in the department of Computer Science in Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Any attempt to persuade myself to focus on my major turned out to be a failure at the beginning of my college life. After several terms, I realized that I would never be interested in being a programmer or an engineer. At that moment, I lost my direction and objectives.
My persistence in reading saved me from the dark situation. As a matter of fact, I enjoyed reading the books included Encyclopedia American, and some books about management by Peter F.Drucker. I began to notice something interesting: Why some companies can produce more than others? Why some company can sell more than others? Why some companies can build up but others cannot when facing the same difficulties?
With the questions in my mind, I started to read many relevant books. I was lucky to read the book “Jack: Straight from the Gut”by Jack Welch, in Which John A. Byrne makes a clear illustration that the management is important for a company. When I was a junior, I ran a bookshop by myself near my school. I should manage not only the finance in the shop but also the employees in my shop even made some strategies to enlarge the business in my shop to hold on the run the shop. From this, my interpersonal skills and the capacity in business has been greatly developed, definitely I was increasingly interested in what I was doing. By December, 2003, I had finally determined to take business management as my career instead of IT. To accumulate more relevant knowledge, I strived to gain more practical work experience in some big companies.
Fortunately, as a senior, I began by conducting an internship in the Architecture Company in Zhejiang Province. Over six months, I worked as an assistant of the manager to harmonize the relationship between the different departments in this company and to draft some management system, which broadened my perspective of management conditions and business performance in different industries. The experience showed me that management is much more important than that of I thought in big companies. After graduation, I continued my work in this company. In May, 2005, the company offered me an opportunity to participate in an training program held by a famous management school. Through in-depth discussions with teachers and students in the classes, they all encouraged me to pursue my future career in management field because of my intellectual ability and the brand new ideas I mentioned.
During the short period of training, I realized that pursuing a higher degree in management is a wise choice for me now. Why:這個(gè)是一個(gè)常見的問題,就算學(xué)校沒有要求申請(qǐng)人寫此類的essay,申請(qǐng)人也應(yīng)該在PS的最后闡明自己選擇這所學(xué)校的理由。切忌大而空的回答,很多學(xué)生都喜歡說因?yàn)閷W(xué)校聲望高、名氣好、地理位置佳等作為自己選擇學(xué)校的理由,但這只會(huì)讓學(xué)校覺得你是在盲目地選校而不是根據(jù)自身的需求出發(fā)來選擇學(xué)校。所以不妨問一下自己:

二、脫離實(shí)際、弄虛作假、亂假設(shè)
個(gè)別同學(xué)把別人的科研實(shí)習(xí)經(jīng)歷都安在自己的身上,從材料上看,這個(gè)學(xué)生看似有著極為出色的背景,他也可能會(huì)被一個(gè)不錯(cuò)的大學(xué)錄取甚至獲得全獎(jiǎng),但是到校一學(xué)期后他的真實(shí)水平就會(huì)顯現(xiàn)出來。美國大學(xué)對(duì)于這種弄虛作假的行為甚為憤慨,會(huì)責(zé)令其退學(xué)。

有些碩士項(xiàng)目的申請(qǐng)人在簡歷里的教育背景部分羅列出自己在初中和高中的學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)歷,而在工作經(jīng)歷或研究經(jīng)歷部分,卻一筆帶過,沒有對(duì)工作經(jīng)歷或研究經(jīng)歷進(jìn)行任何詳細(xì)的描述,這種主次不分、取舍不當(dāng)?shù)暮啔v,很難得到美國名校招生官的青睞。

“All I know about leadership I learned from . . .” What items could a person use to describe leadership qualities?
Inspired by the student council advisors at my high school.
Student council was a big part of my life in high school. I have participated in it since my frst year of high school. When I frst joined, I was quiet, na?ve, and unwilling to participate in many activities. I was scared to meet new people and afraid to apply myself. This all began to change. Half way through my frst year in student council, one of the advisors can up to me and asked why I did not participate that much. I did not have an answer for her and did not know how to respond. After this, I began to think of an answer. I became frustrated and decided to change. I started to show up at events and had a great time. I realized I loved this and wanted to start leading these activities. In my sophomore, junior, and now my senior year of high school, I asserted myself and took on a strong leadership role in student council. I did not fgure out the answer to why I was so reserved until this year with the help of this question.
When I looked up leadership in the dictionary, it said that it was the capacity to lead and the act or instance of leading. These are two very broad defnitions of leadership. Many people have different notions of what this word actually means. When I was challenged to use different items to describe what leadership actually is, I thought this was going to be a hard and obnoxious task. What could I learn from comparing leadership to a stuffed animal or a rubber chicken? But when I sat down to come up with a couple of answers, I realized that leadership could be compared to almost anything a person wants.
All I know about leadership I learned from a calculator. A calculator can add everything together to come up with the best answer. It can delet e what is unnecessary and only include what is important. It can solve any type of problem. These are all important equalities a leader has to have. A leader has to be able to add all of the ideas together to make the best possible plan. Leaders have to know how to decipher the good and the bad out of an idea. They have to be versatile and know how to deal with different types of issues.
All I know about leadership I learned from a ball. A ball is able to bounce back up after it is dropped. It is round and has no creases. A ball can be thrown back and forth to different people. All of these qualities are also leadership qualities. A leader has to be ready for every situation that is thrown at him or her. He or she has to be able to bounce back from any setbacks and never dwell on the past. Leaders have to exhibit many qualities and never be closed-minded about a situation. A leader must be able to delegate when he or she cannot get the work done. They have to trust everyone they lead to be able to “catch the ball” and keep a project rolling.
This activity made me realize that being a leader is so much more than just having authority and having the ability to take control of a situation. A leader has to be trusting of all the people he or she leads and, leaders must be able to combine ideas into one encompassing idea. They cannot sit in the background and watch events happen; they have to jump in and be involved. They should not delegate all their responsibilities away.
Leadership is more than what the dictionary says it is.
I learned through all of this that I have many of these qualities.
I have the ability to solve problems, lead through adversity, and be versatile. From answering this question, I realized that I could lead effectively, even if my leadership style is different from other individuals. When I joined student council in my frst year of high school, I did not have these qualities because I was never put into a situation where I had to lead. I was too reserved to try. When I tried, I learned that I could succeed in this. I did not realize until I answered this question about leadership. A responsible, hard working and good-humoured person deeply committed to a career in the legal profession. Particular areas of interest within the law degree include Business Law and International Law as they incorporate my love for economics and foreign culture respectively. Having studied mainly arts subjects during the sixth form, I look forward to branching out into more diverse fields, particularly medical law, as it allows the opportunity for in-depth ethical discussion, something I have found especially interesting during my time as a member of the school debating society.
I have recently immersed myself in the likes of “Learning The Law” by Williams, “The Law Machine” by Berlins and Dyer, “Eve was Framed” by Kennedy and John Grisham’s legal thrillers. These have given me a better understanding of the workings of both the UK and US legal systems and have raised important legal issues, the ethics surrounding the death penalty being one particular area of interest. This interest spurred me on to look at the case of Aileen Wuornos, who was executed despite questionable mental health.
I have spent time in the public galleries of both the local County Court and High Court. I particularly enjoyed the courtroom banter that occurs between lawyers and judges and, upon witnessing a sentencing, was immediately struck by the judge’s power to dramatically change the course of somebody’s life in an instant. In December I am due to shadow a district judge for a week, giving valuable insight into the ins and outs of the career.

預(yù)科:學(xué)費(fèi)每年約15000―20000澳元(約9.5―13萬人民幣);
高中:公立高中學(xué)費(fèi)每年約15000澳元(約9萬人民幣);私立高中學(xué)費(fèi)每年約25000―30000澳元(約16萬―20萬);
研究生:學(xué)費(fèi)每年20000―30000澳元(約13―19.8萬人民幣)。
大家都知道雅思成績是去澳大利亞留學(xué)的重要條件之一,所以對(duì)于雅思成績也有一定的要求。先說高中生的留學(xué)要求吧!雅思4分對(duì)于大多數(shù)學(xué)生來說不是一件難事,但這也僅僅是滿足澳洲簽證的基本要求,如果想要直接入讀高中主課,雅思分?jǐn)?shù)則要求在5-5.5分之間,國內(nèi)初中生和高中生因?yàn)槊β档膶W(xué)業(yè)所以很難抽時(shí)間去應(yīng)對(duì)雅思考試。因此澳洲大多數(shù)高中都接受由高中預(yù)備課程(HSP)轉(zhuǎn)入主課的學(xué)生。沒有提供雅思或其他英語考試成績的學(xué)生,一般之前的高中預(yù)備課程會(huì)默認(rèn)為20周,入讀后,根據(jù)個(gè)人的英語能力會(huì)減少或者增加周數(shù)。

從簽證角度出發(fā),除中學(xué)生簽證和澳大利亞對(duì)外援助學(xué)生簽證外,中國赴澳申請(qǐng)人必須具備雅思A類平均5.0以上的成績。澳大利亞大學(xué)一般要求學(xué)生至少有IELTS(雅思)測試6 -6.5分以上的英語成績。如果申請(qǐng)人英語成績低于上述分?jǐn)?shù),大學(xué)可以安排學(xué)生到該校的語言中心(ELICOS)補(bǔ)習(xí)英語。
申請(qǐng)人/父母/(外)祖父母具備相當(dāng)?shù)慕?jīng)濟(jì)實(shí)力,能夠負(fù)擔(dān)其在澳學(xué)費(fèi)、生活開支等費(fèi)用。對(duì)于海外學(xué)生來說,澳大利亞中學(xué)一年的學(xué)費(fèi):10,000-15,000澳元;職業(yè)技術(shù)培訓(xùn)課程:每年8,000-12,000澳元;大學(xué)文科學(xué)士:每年10,000-16,000澳元;大學(xué)理工科學(xué)士:每年13,000-19,000澳元;碩士/博士研究生:每年15,000-25,000澳元。生活費(fèi)視生活方式和居住城市變化很大,政府要求平均每年需12,000澳元,中國學(xué)生實(shí)際花費(fèi)00-15000左右。

該框架是由澳大利亞政府批準(zhǔn)的全國性的學(xué)歷資格評(píng)定框架,銜接全國的不同課程和學(xué)歷資格。學(xué)生可以在不同層次的學(xué)習(xí)和不同院校間方便地轉(zhuǎn)換,以往學(xué)習(xí)所獲學(xué)分得到承認(rèn)。
澳大利亞可以說是目前社會(huì)福利最好的國家之一。首次購房可以獲得政府10000澳元的補(bǔ)助。首個(gè)新生兒可以為家庭獲得近兩千多澳元的獎(jiǎng)金,所有學(xué)生在政府小學(xué)到高中,全部可以免費(fèi)義務(wù)教育。
