Due to the comprehensiveness of China’s “reform and open” policies, economics plays an increasingly important role in the development of its global position. Though more and more companies built, management of companies cannot catch up with the development of the companies. Management is a burgeoning field in China, so I hope I can acquire more modern knowledge on management in England.

The roots of my strong interest in business can be traced back to my childhood. My father was among the first of China’s new breed of modern entrepreneurs. As a young girl, it was inspirational hearing about his business ventures, and meeting the varied and interesting circle of entrepreneurs. My mother was also involved in business as an accountant, helping him with simple calculations. And so it was early in my life that I hoped I, also, would someday be able to enter the realm of business.

With the time of growing up, I preferred reading books to satisfy my curiosity. I never ceased to contemplate over the questions I encountered. Subjects on business and management became a special fascination to me and my knowledge of psychology as well as interest in this field was increasing rapidly.

As a high school student in China, I had to concentrate on the College Entrance Examination (CEE), even so, books not related to the exams were never excluded from my life. Unfortunately when sitting in the exam in June, , I was so nervous that I didn’t score well in the CEE exam. I enrolled in the department of Computer Science in Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Any attempt to persuade myself to focus on my major turned out to be a failure at the beginning of my college life. After several terms, I realized that I would never be interested in being a programmer or an engineer. At that moment, I lost my direction and objectives.

My persistence in reading saved me from the dark situation. As a matter of fact, I enjoyed reading the books included Encyclopedia American, and some books about management by Peter F.Drucker. I began to notice something interesting: Why some companies can produce more than others? Why some company can sell more than others? Why some companies can build up but others cannot when facing the same difficulties?

With the questions in my mind, I started to read many relevant books. I was lucky to read the book “Jack: Straight from the Gut”by Jack Welch, in Which John A. Byrne makes a clear illustration that the management is important for a company. When I was a junior, I ran a bookshop by myself near my school. I should manage not only the finance in the shop but also the employees in my shop even made some strategies to enlarge the business in my shop to hold on the run the shop. From this, my interpersonal skills and the capacity in business has been greatly developed, definitely I was increasingly interested in what I was doing. By December, , I had finally determined to take business management as my career instead of IT. To accumulate more relevant knowledge, I strived to gain more practical work experience in some big companies.

Fortunately, as a senior, I began by conducting an internship in the Architecture Company in Zhejiang Province. Research ExperienceIn the second year of my graduate studies, I began towork as research assistant of Professor Dacheng Yang, a renowned expert indigital and mobile communication Research and Design Center of Ministry of Postsand Telecommunications. After learning the background, application, principle,and advantage of CDMA, I selected the signaling design of the CDMA Base StationInterface as my research topic. I evaluated and studied the protocols IS-95,IS-634 and the ULTRA interface protocols of Lucent. Applying softwareengineering method and Oriented-Object approach, I designed the internalinterface of Base Station System between BSC and BTS-Abis interface, which isone of the most important parts of such a large and sophisticated project. Thenreferring to protocols LAPD/LAPF, integrating the latest knowledge and using onestep. By working on this project, I learned more about CDMA, GSM and othermobile communications systems. Later I felt so proud to hear what I had done wasdownloaded to the board and the design ran flawlessly.

Working ExperienceAfter I obtained my MA degree in engineering in 1997, Iwas employed by a telecommunication branch company of Posts &Telecommunications Industry Company. I participated in the JSU18 switchingSystem Project, which is planned to produce the sixth largest switching systemin China's own switching systems. I was in charge of the No.7 signaling sectionand developed the trunk communication system. Referring to protocol Q. 764, etc,I designed the TUP (Telephone User Part) & ISUP (ISDN User Part) - the mostimportant part of a switching system-with C++ Language. By now, I have finishedthe software flow of CPC (call process) of these two parts. Through programming,downloading the procedure into the real switching system, debugging and testing,I came to deeply understand the call process of the large switching system andthe relationship between all the modules of a large switching system. Theprocedure that I completed is so good that we can call successfully throughit.

In working on these two projects, I cultivated diligent work habits,independent research ability and team spirit. I feel I have the potential forfurther further academic growth and am ready to take up the challenge ofadvanced studies in my chosen field.

From August 1998, I joined Software center Motorola, China and got involvedin the CDMA project. We must communicate with international customers on afrequent basis in English environment. So I not only learned about the excellentsoftware development process and various branches of advanced knowledge, butalso improved my English ability. Here, we often exchange our findings atpresentations given by others and myself in English. I get a lot of technicaland non - technical training, in such subjects as Software Product Process, CDMA( Code Division Multiple Access), GSM, GPRS ( General Packet Radio Service - thethird generation system of GSM), TTCN ( Tree and Tabular Combined Notation - atest language), ITEX ( Interactive TTCN Editor and executor - a test tool forthe TTCN language), and even English language.

Purpose of StudyI learn greedily, but the more I am trained, the moredeeply I realize what I learned earlier is not enough. I have not got a chanceto lead a major project, although I have been moving on a smooth career path andalways finished my part of every project immaculately. As a female engineer, Imust learn more to compete with most male engineers to lead a major project. Andin spite of all my achievements, I feel that I have not brought my intellectualcapabilities into full play. 你要用故事情節(jié)來(lái)表現(xiàn)你自己。簡(jiǎn)歷是羅列成就,那個(gè)人陳述是干嘛?換位思考,如果你是招生官,你會(huì)喜歡什么樣的學(xué)生?

三:文章不能承重之輕?

很多人覺(jué)得申請(qǐng)文章很重要,于是,put all thoughts into it,進(jìn)入paranoid模式以致不能自拔,這是種危險(xiǎn)的狀態(tài)。

什么事情,過(guò)就不好,這是古訓(xùn)。大家應(yīng)該要明白一個(gè)道理,世界沒(méi)有完美的事情,越偏執(zhí),越容易進(jìn)入自己的narrow perspective。

如果時(shí)間允許,補(bǔ)充申請(qǐng)素材,做些和申請(qǐng)相關(guān)的活動(dòng)或者實(shí)習(xí),對(duì)自己提升的更多。

四:文書(shū)內(nèi)容寫(xiě)得越多越好?

文書(shū)內(nèi)容寫(xiě)得越多越好?錯(cuò),這真是大錯(cuò)。

為什么會(huì)有這樣的想法?這其中是有理由,這歸根于中國(guó)的教育,我們?cè)诖鹞目祁}目,比如政治題的時(shí)候,老師都會(huì)說(shuō),多寫(xiě)點(diǎn),給分會(huì)高點(diǎn)。我們被鼓勵(lì)將很多無(wú)用的信息放在文章中。

然而申請(qǐng)文章不同,查看任何一所學(xué)校的申請(qǐng)文書(shū),要求的第一條往往就是concise。表達(dá)邏輯完整即可。

與人溝通的專業(yè),比如商科申請(qǐng),對(duì)簡(jiǎn)歷要求是一頁(yè),多了沒(méi)人去看。同樣這個(gè)道理,在文書(shū)準(zhǔn)備過(guò)程中,得要想能不能用少點(diǎn)的字,去表達(dá)自己。很多時(shí)候,少即是多!

五:講究情感路線?

中國(guó)人寫(xiě)作文講究寫(xiě)情,很多人都不會(huì)忘記寫(xiě)過(guò)很多關(guān)于我的爸爸媽媽爺爺奶奶的文章,窮極煽情的本領(lǐng)。

中國(guó)的語(yǔ)文教育不講究分析,有句話說(shuō)“曉之以情,動(dòng)之以理”多半是前半部分看到的多。

很多申請(qǐng)的學(xué)生,可能自己故事一般,背景一般,覺(jué)得只有把自己說(shuō)的可憐兮兮,對(duì)方招生官才會(huì)感動(dòng)。

我們見(jiàn)到很多學(xué)生,開(kāi)頭寫(xiě)自己小時(shí)候怎么樣,孤兒寡母等等,其實(shí)大可沒(méi)有必要。

不要讓這種情感成為招生官閱讀你文章的負(fù)擔(dān)。不要用情感乞討的方式來(lái)獲得錄取,這不是招生官喜歡看到的品質(zhì)。

你要通過(guò)你的成熟,你的判斷,來(lái)描述自己對(duì)社會(huì)和對(duì)他人的認(rèn)識(shí)理解。

六:見(jiàn)到名人就是牛?

這到是中式思維常會(huì)遇到的情況。絕大部分的中國(guó)社會(huì)都是人情社會(huì),大家做事辦事都是通過(guò)人脈來(lái)完成。

因此,很多學(xué)生會(huì)理解到,如果我認(rèn)識(shí)名人,豈不表明自己很牛。

筆者見(jiàn)過(guò)有個(gè)學(xué)生在BS的時(shí)候,侃侃而談他與上海市長(zhǎng)是如何認(rèn)識(shí)的?添油加醋。聽(tīng)下來(lái),就是上海世博會(huì),他是“小白菜”,參觀的時(shí)候,順便和他打個(gè)招呼,很微弱的關(guān)系。

還有些學(xué)生,在學(xué)校講座的時(shí)候,和一些大牛教授有過(guò)合影,覺(jué)得自己很牛。其實(shí)這些并不是美國(guó)所希望看到的學(xué)生,如果要證明自己很出色,一定是讓自己的成就讓他人佩服。而不是膚淺的東西。

七:自己躲貓貓?

這是個(gè)隱秘的陷阱。很多中國(guó)申請(qǐng)者,尤其DIY的學(xué)生,在創(chuàng)作文書(shū)的時(shí)候,會(huì)陷入這樣一個(gè)境地:自我丟失。

這種情況很嚴(yán)重,產(chǎn)生的原因,通常都是中國(guó)人自我潛意識(shí)對(duì)自我不是自信。

比如在描述項(xiàng)目,會(huì)描述項(xiàng)目多么優(yōu)秀,老師指導(dǎo)多么給力,Team工作多么順暢,文字寫(xiě)得洋洋灑灑,但是,問(wèn)題出來(lái),你呢?你自己是什么樣的人,我們依然不知道。

還有很多學(xué)生,覺(jué)得自己是打醬油的:實(shí)習(xí)打醬油,科研打醬油,文書(shū)覺(jué)得沒(méi)什么可寫(xiě),所以亂寫(xiě)一通。

這是不對(duì)的,文書(shū)展示的是你,說(shuō)大一點(diǎn):你的contribution;說(shuō)小一點(diǎn):你的influence。很多申請(qǐng)者不善于發(fā)現(xiàn)自己與周邊的關(guān)系,不了解自己如何去推動(dòng)項(xiàng)目的完成。要注意從細(xì)節(jié)中提煉自己,文章中一定要有自己!

出國(guó)留學(xué)申請(qǐng)書(shū) (十)

1、國(guó)家建設(shè)高水平大學(xué)公派研究生項(xiàng)目及國(guó)家公派專項(xiàng)研究生獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金項(xiàng)目有什么區(qū)別?

主要是選拔范圍不同。國(guó)家建設(shè)高水平大學(xué)公派研究生項(xiàng)目面向60所簽約項(xiàng)目高校選拔(項(xiàng)目院校詳見(jiàn)項(xiàng)目選拔簡(jiǎn)章)。國(guó)家公派專項(xiàng)研究生獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金項(xiàng)目面向國(guó)家建設(shè)高水平大學(xué)公派研究生項(xiàng)目簽約高校以外(專項(xiàng)碩士項(xiàng)目除外)高校和其他單位選拔。上述兩個(gè)項(xiàng)目選拔標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、要求、資助標(biāo)準(zhǔn)相同。

2、國(guó)家公派留學(xué)人員獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金資助的主要內(nèi)容是什么?

資助內(nèi)容主要包括一次國(guó)際往返旅費(fèi)及獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金生活費(fèi),其中獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金生活費(fèi)是指國(guó)家公派留學(xué)人員在國(guó)外學(xué)習(xí)期間的基本生活費(fèi)用,包括:伙食費(fèi)、住宿費(fèi)、交通費(fèi)、電話費(fèi)、書(shū)籍資料費(fèi)、醫(yī)療費(fèi)、交際費(fèi)、一次性安置費(fèi)、零用費(fèi)等。具體資助標(biāo)準(zhǔn)按教育部、財(cái)政部有關(guān)規(guī)定執(zhí)行。此外,對(duì)少數(shù)赴國(guó)外一流高校,一流專業(yè)攻讀博士學(xué)位人員,如其學(xué)科專業(yè)確為國(guó)家急需、且難以獲得外方學(xué)費(fèi)資助,特別是人文及應(yīng)用社會(huì)科學(xué)專業(yè),可提供學(xué)費(fèi)資助。

3、已經(jīng)獲得全獎(jiǎng)的人員是否可以申請(qǐng)?

原則上可以。如果外方大學(xué)允許已獲學(xué)校全獎(jiǎng)?wù)呱暾?qǐng)其他獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金,則該生可以向國(guó)家提出公派研究生申請(qǐng)。凡被國(guó)家公派留學(xué)基金錄取者必須按協(xié)議履行公派出國(guó)人員義務(wù),承擔(dān)相應(yīng)責(zé)任,接受駐外使領(lǐng)(館)教育處(組)管理。

4、國(guó)家公派研究生項(xiàng)目是否可以資助前往香港、澳門(mén)、臺(tái)灣地區(qū)的高校學(xué)習(xí)?

不可以。

5、聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)博士研究生是否可以申請(qǐng)6個(gè)月以下的項(xiàng)目?

不可以。聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)博士研究生的留學(xué)期限為6-24個(gè)月,不接受少于6個(gè)月、多于24個(gè)月的申請(qǐng)。

6、錄取/、研修計(jì)劃/是否需要提交原件?

不需要。申請(qǐng)人只需提供邀請(qǐng)函/錄取通知書(shū)、學(xué)習(xí)計(jì)劃/研修計(jì)劃的復(fù)印件、傳真件,或有外方電子簽名的打印件,原件請(qǐng)申請(qǐng)人自行留存。另,提交給國(guó)家留學(xué)基金委的材料都將用于評(píng)審并留存,提交后將不予退還。

In thepast,I have had the experience of working in settings where the people and thecorporate cultures of the companies were all different. I have found that thereis a great difference in the both the behaviors of people and of theirorganizations,depending on whether they are state-owned enterprises (SOEs),large multinational firms,or small to medium sized foreign enterprises. Onesimple example is that of the ability of an employee to act independentlywithout direct instructions from his or her boss. In many Chinese organizations,acting without direct instructions is considered a form of disrespect towardsthe supervisor,who is generally offended by such behavior. In my experience andresearch,such organizations tend to have low operating efficiency with theemployees losing their innate ability to take the initiative.

第三個(gè)是家長(zhǎng)和學(xué)生的選擇越來(lái)越理性了。過(guò)去,中國(guó)的家長(zhǎng)和學(xué)生看的是排名,家長(zhǎng)對(duì)留學(xué)越來(lái)越懂,開(kāi)始看大學(xué)的專業(yè)排名,看成績(jī)的選擇了,看未來(lái)就業(yè)的前景了。我們家長(zhǎng)也逐漸成熟起來(lái)了。就是這么幾個(gè)趨勢(shì)。

第一,提高單科成績(jī)。國(guó)外的大學(xué)非常看重學(xué)習(xí)成績(jī),許多自考生申請(qǐng)困難,便是由于學(xué)習(xí)成績(jī)的問(wèn)題。由于我國(guó)的自考比較嚴(yán)格,如果考生不是在考前就有出國(guó)打算的話,很少有考生各科成績(jī)都能得優(yōu)秀。因?yàn)楫吘故怯脴I(yè)余時(shí)間在學(xué)習(xí),許多人抱著通過(guò)就行的想法,成績(jī)普遍不高。因此,如果有出國(guó)留學(xué)的打算的話,一定要努力提高自己的考試成績(jī),這樣申請(qǐng)名校的幾率更大。

第二,提高自己的語(yǔ)言水平。自考生大多不是在學(xué)校里全脫產(chǎn)學(xué)習(xí),外語(yǔ)也就沒(méi)有經(jīng)過(guò)系統(tǒng)的學(xué)習(xí),通過(guò)自考的英語(yǔ)單科,很多人都是勉勉強(qiáng)強(qiáng),更何況托福雅思。想出國(guó)但又沒(méi)有通過(guò)語(yǔ)言關(guān)的自考生可以先進(jìn)入國(guó)外的語(yǔ)言學(xué)校,但費(fèi)用相當(dāng)高。因此,有留學(xué)意向的自考生最好在國(guó)內(nèi)參加相關(guān)培訓(xùn),通過(guò)了語(yǔ)言關(guān)再出去,這樣可以節(jié)約很多費(fèi)用。

第三,最好能拿到學(xué)士學(xué)位。國(guó)外許多大學(xué)都要求申請(qǐng)者擁有學(xué)士學(xué)位才允許讀碩士,因此如果你擁有學(xué)位的話,選擇的空間會(huì)更大。但這種規(guī)定不是絕對(duì)的,在國(guó)外也同樣有許多學(xué)校不要求有學(xué)位,具體情況需要征詢他們的研究生院。

第一,經(jīng)濟(jì)條件。

大多數(shù)的留學(xué)國(guó)家,都要求學(xué)生具備必要的經(jīng)濟(jì)條件。如英國(guó)、美國(guó)、澳洲、加拿大等國(guó)家,留學(xué)總費(fèi)用在30萬(wàn)以上,在申請(qǐng)的時(shí)候,要求學(xué)生出具銀行的流水存款證明。

而根據(jù)你所留學(xué)的階段不同,在時(shí)間上也會(huì)有差距,本科3-4年左右,碩士1-2年。

第二,學(xué)歷要求。

因?yàn)樯暾?qǐng)階段不同,要求上也會(huì)有差距。一般情況下,申請(qǐng)本科要求擁有高中畢業(yè)證書(shū),畢業(yè)會(huì)考證明。一些亞洲國(guó)家地區(qū),也支持中專生,或者自考高中文憑等。申請(qǐng)碩士課程要求會(huì)嚴(yán)格很多,必須具備本科文憑,擁有學(xué)士學(xué)位,在申請(qǐng)學(xué)校和專業(yè)的時(shí)候,還需要考慮個(gè)人的專業(yè)背景、工作經(jīng)歷以及興趣是否符合申請(qǐng)?jiān)盒5囊蟆?/p>

第三,語(yǔ)言要求

第四、身體健康條件

Due to the comprehensiveness of China’s “reform and open” policies, economics plays an increasingly important role in the development of its global position. Though more and more companies built, management of companies cannot catch up with the development of the companies. Management is a burgeoning field in China, so I hope I can acquire more modern knowledge on management in England. The roots of my strong interest in business can be traced back to my childhood. My father was among the first of China’s new breed of modern entrepreneurs. As a young girl, it was inspirational hearing about his business ventures, and meeting the varied and interesting circle of entrepreneurs. My mother was also involved in business as an accountant, helping him with simple calculations. And so it was early in my life that I hoped I, also, would someday be able to enter the realm of business.

With the time of growing up, I preferred reading books to satisfy my curiosity. I never ceased to contemplate over the questions I encountered. Subjects on business and management became a special fascination to me and my knowledge of psychology as well as interest in this field was increasing rapidly.

As a high school student in China, I had to concentrate on the College Entrance Examination (CEE), even so, books not related to the exams were never excluded from my life. Unfortunately when sitting in the exam in June, , I was so nervous that I didn’t score well in the CEE exam. I enrolled in the department of Computer Science in Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Any attempt to persuade myself to focus on my major turned out to be a failure at the beginning of my college life. After several terms, I realized that I would never be interested in being a programmer or an engineer. At that moment, I lost my direction and objectives.

My persistence in reading saved me from the dark situation. As a matter of fact, I enjoyed reading the books included Encyclopedia American, and some books about management by Peter F.Drucker. I began to notice something interesting: Why some companies can produce more than others? Why some company can sell more than others? Why some companies can build up but others cannot when facing the same difficulties?

With the questions in my mind, I started to read many relevant books. I was lucky to read the book “Jack: Straight from the Gut”by Jack Welch, in Which John A. Byrne makes a clear illustration that the management is important for a company. When I was a junior, I ran a bookshop by myself near my school. I should manage not only the finance in the shop but also the employees in my shop even made some strategies to enlarge the business in my shop to hold on the run the shop. From this, my interpersonal skills and the capacity in business has been greatly developed, definitely I was increasingly interested in what I was doing. By December, , I had finally determined to take business management as my career instead of IT. To accumulate more relevant knowledge, I strived to gain more practical work experience in some big companies.

Fortunately, as a senior, I began by conducting an internship in the Architecture Company in Zhejiang Province. Over six months, I worked as an assistant of the manager to harmonize the relationship between the different departments in this company and to draft some management system, which broadened my perspective of management conditions and business performance in different industries. The experience showed me that management is much more important than that of I thought in big companies. After graduation, I continued my work in this company. In May, , the company offered me an opportunity to participate in an training program held by a famous management school. Through in-depth discussions with teachers and students in the classes, they all encouraged me to pursue my future career in management field because of my intellectual ability and the brand new ideas I mentioned.

在思想政治方面我時(shí)時(shí)要求進(jìn)步,處處嚴(yán)格要求自己。在進(jìn)入大學(xué)一開(kāi)始我向校黨委遞交了入黨申請(qǐng)書(shū),大一下下半年我參加了學(xué)校的入黨積極分子培訓(xùn),我以自己的實(shí)際行動(dòng)向黨旗不斷靠攏。

在生活中,我樸素節(jié)約、性格開(kāi)朗,嚴(yán)于律己寬以待人。我生長(zhǎng)在文山州一個(gè)貧窮的小山區(qū),家里共計(jì)5口人,以種玉米為生,爺爺年歲已高,體弱多病,沒(méi)有勞動(dòng)能力。父母親在家種地,父親經(jīng)常生病,哥哥初中畢業(yè)就沒(méi)有上學(xué)了。雖然作為農(nóng)村的孩子,但我有一顆熱血求知的心。

五、家庭經(jīng)濟(jì)困難,個(gè)人自強(qiáng)不息

我來(lái)自農(nóng)村,父母都是樸實(shí)無(wú)華的農(nóng)民。全家共四口人,父母以務(wù)農(nóng)為生,家庭收入主要來(lái)源于農(nóng)田收入。因?yàn)闋敔斈棠棠昀象w弱經(jīng)常生病,特別是爺爺多次住院開(kāi)刀,還要供兩個(gè)孩子上學(xué),家里的經(jīng)濟(jì)情況比較緊張。但是農(nóng)村的生活賦予我吃苦耐勞,不畏一切艱難險(xiǎn)阻的品質(zhì)。,我進(jìn)行了大量的社會(huì)實(shí)踐活動(dòng),包括課余時(shí)間做家教,假期期間去打工等,以此來(lái)減輕家庭負(fù)擔(dān)。從這些工作中我鍛煉了自己還認(rèn)識(shí)了很多朋友。我從沒(méi)有因?yàn)榧彝ダщy而自卑過(guò),我時(shí)刻告警自己:既然我不能選擇我的出身,我可以把握自己的命運(yùn)。

Due to the comprehensiveness of China’s reform and open policies, economics plays an increasingly important role in the development of its global position. Though more and more companies built, management of companies cannot catch up with the development of the companies. Management is a burgeoning field in China, so I hope I can acquire more modern knowledge on management in England.

The roots of my strong interest in business can be traced back to my childhood. My father was among the first of China’s new breed of modern entrepreneurs. As a young girl, it was inspirational hearing about his business ventures, and meeting the varied and interesting circle of entrepreneurs. My mother was also involved in business as an accountant, helping him with simple calculations. And so it was early in my life that I hoped I, also, would someday be able to enter the realm of business.

With the time of growing up, I preferred reading books to satisfy my curiosity. I never ceased to contemplate over the questions I encountered. Subjects on business and management became a special fascination to me and my knowledge of psychology as well as interest in this field was increasing rapidly.

As a high school student in China, I had to concentrate on the College Entrance Examination (CEE), even so, books not related to the exams were never excluded from my life. Unfortunately when sitting in the exam in June, 2001, I was so nervous that I didn’t score well in the CEE exam. I enrolled in the department of Computer Science in Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Any attempt to persuade myself to focus on my major turned out to be a failure at the beginning of my college life. After several terms, I realized that I would never be interested in being a programmer or an engineer. At that moment, I lost my direction and objectives.

My persistence in reading saved me from the dark situation. As a matter of fact, I enjoyed reading the books included Encyclopedia American, and some books about management by Peter F.Drucker. I began to notice something interesting: Why some companies can produce more than others? Why some company can sell more than others? Why some companies can build up but others cannot when facing the same difficulties?

With the questions in my mind, I started to read many relevant books. I was lucky to read the book Jack: Straight from the Gutby Jack Welch, in Which John A. Byrne makes a clear illustration that the management is important for a company. When I was a junior, I ran a bookshop by myself near my school. I should manage not only the finance in the shop but also the employees in my shop even made some strategies to enlarge the business in my shop to hold on the run the shop. From this, my interpersonal skills and the capacity in business has been greatly developed, definitely I was increasingly interested in what I was doing. By December, 2003, I had finally determined to take business management as my career instead of IT. To accumulate more relevant knowledge, I strived to gain more practical work experience in some big companies.

Fortunately, as a senior, I began by conducting an internship in the Architecture Company in Zhejiang Province. Over six months, I worked as an assistant of the manager to harmonize the relationship between the different departments in this company and to draft some management system, which broadened my perspective of management conditions and business performance in different industries. The experience showed me that management is much more important than that of I thought in big companies. After graduation, I continued my work in this company. In May, 2005, the company offered me an opportunity to participate in an training program held by a famous management school. Through in-depth discussions with teachers and students in the classes, they all encouraged me to pursue my future career in management field because of my intellectual ability and the brand new ideas I mentioned.

During the short period of training, I realized that pursuing a higher degree in management is a wise choice for me now. Lancaster, with its excellence in management, represents the perfect fit for my needs. In your challenging environment, I can build the required foundation of knowledge related to management to achieve my goals.
