Overwhelmed by such a trend, Chinese unconsciously get involvedin western culture. Last but not least, some Chinese people have blind faith in foreign thingswhile miss our own possessions with contempt.
I am critical of this trend. China boasts a brilliant history and splendid traditions. Inmodern times, Chinese tradition should be preserved and promoted. But it seems that youngpeople no longer treasure the traditions. On the contrary, they turn to pursueenthusiastically a supposedly more modern culture. If this trend is allowed to continue, thepriceless heritage of our ancestors will be replaced by western traditions. Nobody expects sucha consequence. So let’s join hand in hand to protect Chinese tradition, especially traditionalholidays.

At an age of character and individuality beingencouraged and demonstrated, we see various “stars” pop up—singing stars, dancing stars,movie stars and sport stars, etc. Many schools even hold contests to choose their “CampusStars”. Although these activities make our cultural life in campus more colorful and varied, a lotof problems spring up at the same time.
First of all, these activities can result in the swelling of vanity in some students, makingthem become arrogant, or even feel superior to other students. Moreover, these activities cangreatly distract the students from their study. In order to become a star, they will, without anydoubt, spend a lot of time and energy on the preparation and competition. The focus of theiracademic life will be shifted, and even worse, they can become too enthusiastic aboutextracurricular activities and hate the academic knowledge and skills they need to grasp fortheir future development.

令人開心的是,幾天后,媽媽送我去上舞蹈課。不知什么時候,媽媽還特地為我準備好了舞蹈服和舞蹈鞋。當我換好舞蹈服,準備沖進舞蹈室時,里面傳來了一陣陣的哭聲,我立刻忐忑不安,小心翼翼地走進了舞蹈室。
哇!好寬敞的教室,里面的東西井然有序,把桿、墊子、凳子、鏡子一一俱全。在這里,我走上舞蹈之路。
一次,老師要求我們下“一”字:就是把雙腿張開。我們個個都雙腿僵硬,怎么也下不去。老師要求我們要按順序一個一個排好隊,把雙腿張開得很直,然后使勁地往下壓。此時,我像只受了小花鹿戰戰兢兢。五個、四個、三個……媽呀,下一個就是我!怎么辦?怎么辦?算了,拼一把吧!就在我下狠心準備雙眼一閉時,老師微笑著靠近我,雙眼充滿了期待。老師慢慢地將我的雙腿打開。“股”的一聲,雙腿痛得沒了知覺。我強忍著不要哭,不要哭!但我不爭氣,“哇"的一聲哭了出來。這么一壓,把我對舞蹈的熱愛大大減少,我開始有點想放棄。
不久,老師為我們精心編排了一只兩分多鐘的舞蹈,終于在準備比賽前彩排好了!這次的比賽可是全國的喲!我們過五關斬六將,最終挺進了決賽!為了我們的目標——全國舞蹈比賽金獎,我們每一個隊員,不停地揮灑汗水。果然,功夫不負有心人。我作為代表上臺領獎時,百感交集,晶瑩的淚水奪眶而出。一切都是那么的有意義,一切的努力都是沒白費!

古箏考級
自從去年暑假,我就對古箏有著特別的感覺,每天都要彈2個小時,今年的暑假更不用說了,每天的下午都是彈古箏的時間。轉眼,8月2日就是古箏考級——四級。
吃過午飯,媽媽把我送到了集合地點,然后坐上了去總部的公交車,買了瓶水,又囑咐了幾遍:“兒子,別緊張,正常發揮。”看著媽媽不放心的神情,我鼻子一酸,眼淚在眼眶里直打滾,說了聲:“媽媽,放心吧。”就這樣,我和媽媽揮手說再見,媽媽才放心地回家了。
坐在車上,車緩緩地向前行駛,透過車窗,望著媽媽遠去的背影,呼吸著新鮮的空氣。很快車停了下來,我們排著隊有秩序地下了車,向前面的高樓走去,向左拐進了一間教室,原來這就是考場,這里的人真多呀!
正在這時,監考老師說:“先點一下名,每5個人一組,喊到誰的名字,誰就過來考試。”盼星星,盼月亮,終于輪到我了。我很平靜地走了過去,把準考證遞給了監考老師,坐在了凳子上,心里像大海上的波浪,洶涌澎湃。耳邊又傳來了媽媽的囑咐聲:“兒子,別緊張,正常發揮。”頓時,心里像平靜的水面一樣,我開始彈起了已經彈了幾百遍的《漁舟唱晚》、《小小竹排》,加上了優美的動作,彈完之后,評委老師笑著說:“你真棒,得了滿分。”我很有禮貌地站起來深深地鞠了一躬,謝過評委老師走出了考場,心里一陣輕松。
通過這次古箏考級,讓我懂得了“臺上一分鐘,臺下十年功”,“一分耕耘,一分收獲。”

Nowadays, more and more college students are addicted to online games. Those games may be funny and exciting, but are very harmful to those addicts.
In my opinion, there are many disadvantages of game addiction.Firstly, online games take up a lot of players’ time for study. Many of the addicts found themselves forced to drop out of school for poor academic performance. Secondly, addicts tend to isolate themselves from the reality. What’s worse , indulging in the virtual world for a long time, they are more liable to suffer mental problem and physical collapse. Thirdly , players are exposed to too much violent and unhealthy material, which is definitely harmful to their growth.
In short,I cannot see any benefits from online games.Study should be the primary concern of college students. Therefore,I do hope they can step away from online games.

今天是非常重要的一天,我們平常的努力都是為了這次的考級,所以同學們格外的認真。
我們穿上了統一的服裝,非常的整齊。大家的心情都非常得忐忑,我們彼此為對方鼓勁,大家頓時充滿了信心。邁著輕快地步伐去考級了。
我們第一個小組合是我和小鳥來唱歌,這首歌容易錯的地方是,腰下去的時候,膝蓋不能彎曲,我咬緊牙關堅持著。第二個組合尋胡隱君,這個組合的節奏容易跟不上,我豎起耳朵仔細的聽,到結束都完成的非常好。第三個組合是花搖籃,這首歌容易錯的地方是,腰下去的時候,雖然很疼,但是我為了能跳好,一動也不動。第四個是波比換牙,這個組合最關鍵的是和搭檔的配合。平常我和我的搭檔老是搞錯方向,但是今天我們都跟打了雞血一樣,格外的認真,而且興奮,竟然配合的非常默契,沒有一點失誤。
這次考試在老師們的掌聲中結束了。

媽媽幫我綁好頭發,做好考前準備,一點多我們到達考點,這里也是我們平時上課的地方,熟悉的環境,讓我們少了些緊張。考官老師還沒到場,媽媽幫我拍了幾張照,因為等會兒家長只能在一樓等。老師讓我們再練習一下,還沒練完,考官來了。
我們聽從老師安排,按順序,還沒輪到的,在另一間教室候考,我們就三五成群,在那一起聊天、游戲。終于輪到我們這組上場了,我有點激動又有點緊張,怕在跳的時候會忘記動作。我深吸一口氣,給自己打氣加油:不要緊張,按老師平時教我們的去做就好了,加油,我一定可以的!之前的考試都取得優秀的成績,加油!上場了,我們向考官報號,然后隨著音樂跳了起來,緊張感慢慢消退了,沉醉在動作之中,一會兒我們就完成了。其實也挺快的嘛,我們都松了一口氣。平時好好練,考試的時候就能順利完成了!
